   You have to remember that even though Dorian isn't likely to make landfall over much of Florida the arrival of hurricane-force winds can stretch beyond the eye. The appended map shows places going to be hit. Taking wind damage instead of getting wet isn't a great swap.

   You shouldn't need Meteorology for Liberal Arts Majors to know simple stuff like this. We're falling down in teaching the younglings.
